Martini’s “Neues systematisches Conchylien-Cabinat”, a work of 10 volumes, printed in Nurnberg 1769-1790. Martini was a Hamburg physician who oversaw the publication of the first three volumes before his death in 1778. The work was continued by Johann Hieronymus Chemnitz, a Danish clergyman. These stunning prints depict many rare & beautiful species, drawn from the finest shell collections of the time, including the museum of the King of Denmark.  The 5x7 card is blank inside and comes with an accompanying envelope - shipping is free.
