Illustrations from Shaw & Nodder’s work, The Naturalist’s Miscellany, are curiously whimsical and stylistically original being published between the years 1789 to 1813. Dedicated to the Most Illustrious Princess, Charlotte, Queen of Great Britain, it contains 1063 hand colored prints, almost all being natural history subjects. Interestingly only four of these were botanicals. The 5 x 7 card is blank inside and comes with an accompanying envelope.
